Keep being persistent with your calls to get action. You just have to be more stubborn than the Police or the neighbor.

Did anyone think about the tax assessment. In my town even if you do not own the street running along the front of you property you are taxed on how many feet of frontage you have. Maybe we should put a bucket in front of our house and if people want to park there against our wishes, they should contribute to our tax bill!

You are freaking ignorant. You don't own the street no matter what you think you are entitled to.

I for one don't like people parking in front of my house. I know It's public domain, but there is something called neighborly ethics. Nobody likes people parking in front of their homes. What riles me the most is, for example: There's a big family that has three idle junk cars in their driveway so they park about four or five of their cars in front of other people's homes..... including mine. I don't know why they don't get rid of them. People that says it's alright are the people that do that themselves. I understand if it's inside a large city, but in a quiet suburban neighborhood? I think everybody has the right to park in front of their own homes.

Sheesh, you even tried talking to the guy.

Buy the rustiest and creepiest conversion van you can find. Make it legal, licensed, and insured. Park it in front of your neighbor's place. Even better if you spend some time hanging out in it. Money well spent.

Why do people think it's ok to park their vehicles in front of their neighbor's homes when they have (1) a driveway (which has no cars in it or maybe one car) and (2) a garage? Why can't they park in front of their own home and if there isn't enough room, use their own driveway?!
People that do this are the east end of a horse headed west.

I live in a neighborhood with plenty of parking and homes that all have drive ways & garages. Yet, the ass across the street continues to park in front of my house and on many occassions block my mailbox. When I called the police if it's not parked illegally they can't do anything. We did say something to the neighbor to no avail. I feel like buying the cheapest, broken down cars and parking in front of their homes. People are so inconsiderate and annoying. The police also have proven to be good for nothing.
For the most part there is a reason why they are parking by your house and not theirs. Take a look at Josephine Drive in Koss Farms subdivision, we have our Arabs, and African Americans here one in the large house on the corner with the red Taurus parked in several different places. All have drug criminal convictions - understand how the state works and you wont question it. Be cognizant of your surroundings. You'll catch on in time.

It happens a lot to me. Also they love to take up as much of the curb as they can right on the line as to not be considered blocking your driveway. Police told me that was legal. Also turning around in my driveway. I was considering putting a toll booth out there. This happens all the time since Detroit started moving in.

Why does it matter if your neighbor parks in front of your house? Clearly you aren't parking there. At my friend's house, I park in front of their neighbor's and the neighbor complained. The neighbor NEVER parks there(parks both cars in driveway always) so I started parking there. Then the neighbor all of a sudden has a problem with that and wants me to move my car. Why? Why do people care? Complaining about stupid shit. You guys need a hobby...

What makes me mad is that I work in a disabled home.. they have their driveway to park their handicap vehicle so us employees have to park on the side of the road.. which is fine by me that's where we should park. But when the house next to your business is being total jerk and taking up that whole side of the road where our employees park and think it's ok because they have no respect for us employees or the disabled we take care of.. so they will park all the way up to the one side of their driveway and then they would be I am not kidding when I say at least 6 car parking driveway in their place and almost half a foot ball field to park near their house. They rather park by our business and make it trouble for us employee's to park our cars for work when we don't have another spot to park.. and if we go to park in front of their house they call the cops and makes us move our vehicle elsewhere but yet they have the right to park where ever they want.. I have even caught them park in front of our business home too and I think it's dumb. Yes public road but what gives them the right to be jerk to the handicap and their employees ?. Wish we had laws about parking in front of handicap business's and only allowing the employees that work there to park in those areas on the public street.

<quoted text>I agree 100%. I don't do it to make my nieghbor mad. I do it because of lack of parking. People do it to me,sorry but I don't waste my day looking out my window waiting for people to park in front of my house. These people would have issues if they lived in Chicago. If you park your car to far away from your house it is easy to get shot that way in a big city or mugged. So think about that. Now what would you do? Criminal watch people parking in Chicago so if you don't have to worry about this good for you. I do have to worry about this. Get over it!
So a$$ that you are you park in front of someone's house so THEY have to park far away and get shot or mugged. What a cowardly loser.
