Wait until Bill Daley, Co-author of NAFTA, becomes Obama's chief of staff. Now the entire country can feel the terror of mob control the way Chicagoan's have for decades.

What the hell does the co-author of NAFTA have to do with "Who do you support for Attorney General in Michigan in 2010?" These postings illustrate how people who believe they are politically endowed easily sway from the POINT being made or the question being asked.

Marti from Michigan...Bill Schuette was elected Attorney General. Prior to that, he was a judge on the MI Ct. of Appeals. Pretty solid record.

The race for AG inside the MI-GOP was between Bill Schuette and Mike Bishop. I met both candidates. Bill was absolutely genuine, not at all prideful. The other one didn't even look me in the eye when he spoke. Their presentations at the GOP convention were quite telling, as well.

I would submit to all of you...that, prior to elections, it is a wise endeavor to try and meet your candidates - as well as their opponents - whenever possible. You will get a much better idea of what they are really like, if you can zero in on factors like eye contact, responsiveness to questions, body language, etc. I'm not saying there aren't candidates out there who can't pull the wool over your eyes, but, you will feel far more confident about your choice if you can meet the candidate in person.

Is our new AG using the 62,000 dollar gym that Cox had built? It's projects like this, and we all know every state enjoys spending this way, that can be cut therefor lessen the wounds of where they are taking the hatchet to now. And how about making Congress and the State Reps pay for their own health care? No more perks at the tax payer expense. Let them pay for the luxuries they wallow in. To be of compromise, they could write some off at tax time. I thought we were supposed to see gov't spending cuts? I'm referring to what they spend on themselves with our tax monies.

Say what you may... Mr. Cox wasn't as bad as some of our previous AG's. Had an issue with a West Michigan Bank a few years ago. With precise (software) timing, the federally insured institution set my daughter in arrears to which Dad had to take care of. In opposition to the "Uniform Banking Code", which made any transaction (as they performed it) illegal. I dropped the dime (as did many others). I contacted Mr. Coxs' office... and within 2 days, a certain bank manager was more than sickingly nice (has been for 2 yrs. now). Imagine that. The same financial institution may owe you money. Yet, they only are required to go back 3 years if my info is correct (even though they played an illegal game for 7 years+). Oh well, better a little something than nothing at all.

So, did you get your wish? Bill Schuette was the first AG of the 14 medical marijuana states to say that the registry, which is protected by state law, should be given over to the DEA because they requested it. All other states turned down this request because they respect the people rights and their will. If B.S. believes that is right, then let him pay $42,000 in fines and let him spend the next 21 years in jail as that is our state law. He is in direct opposition to the will of 63% of our voters and by this opposition is, in fact, going to cost us, the taxpayers, much money paying out the wrongful lawsuits and arrests. But don't worry because it looks like Oakland County will be paying out the most money thanks to Sheriff Bouchard and his 'stomp on citizens rights campaign. I read in the 2008 election that there were 1.1 million more votes for medical marijuana than Rick Snyder and 1.5 million more votes for medical marijuana than for Bill S. Hopefully this will mean something down the road. Certainly with all of the financial woes we can regulate and tax medical marijuana. Remember marijuana is the 22nd most dangerous drug right behind aspirin.

What bound all so-called “America First” movements prior to World War II was their common hatred for labor unions, Communists and Socialists, Jews, and most definitely, the administration of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Vereide’s Prayer Breakfast Movement, pro-Nazi German groups like the Bund, and a resurgent Ku Klux Klan had more than propaganda in common – they had an interlocking leadership and a coordinated political agenda.
Not only was Vereide pro-Hitler, he was the only Norwegian of note, who was not officially a Nazi, who never condemned Norwegian Nazi leader Vidkun Quisling, a man whose name has become synonymous with traitor and who was executed in 1945. Vereide and Quisling were almost the same age, Vereide was born in 1886, Quisling in 1887. They both shared a link with the clergy, Vereide was a Methodist minister and Quisling was the son of a Lutheran minister. The Norwegian link to the Fellowship continues to this day but more on that later.
Another pro-Nazi Christian fundamentalist group that arose in the pre-Second World War years was the Moral Rearmament Movement. One recommendation of the Fraser Committee went unheeded by the incoming Reagan administration: a White House Task Force to investigate Moon and his operations. George H. W. Bush’s hat trick with the Iranian hostage takers ensured that Moon would not have to worry about White House interference.

Where Those Who Now Run the U.S. Government Came From and Where They Are Taking Us
By Wayne Madsen

Junior Bush’s time in San Diego at a Christian drug and alcohol rehabilitation center is where the future President of the United States would first be given large doses of Jesus indoctrination. With Nixon’s resignation in disgrace and the Republicans taking a beating in the 1974 elections, little did the Fellowship realize what a huge catch they had made in George W. Bush. Gerald Ford’s administration vainly tried to salvage the Republican cause – but Ford would be defeated in the 1976 race against a born-again Christian, nuclear submarine commander, and former peanut farmer from Georgia named Jimmy Carter. True,
Frank Olson was an American citizen, born in 1910 and murdered in New York City in 1953 by the CIA. Here's an outline of the case:

Following the end of World War II the U.S. conducted "Operation Paperclip", which scoured Germany for Nazi scientists who could be useful. It found some who had conducted experiments on prisoners in Dachau and other Nazi concentration camps, including one Kurt Blome. He was among the defendants in the Nuremberg War Trials, and would have been convicted and hanged but for American intervention. In return for agreeing to provide information to the Americans about his experiments in Dachau, and advice in the development of their own germ warfare program, an acquittal was arranged, and he escaped the gallows.

The fact that Frank Olson had died shortly after being given LSD in a CIA experiment came out in 1975 as a consequence of President Ford's Rockefeller Commission further investigation was suppressed and the whole matter covered up. The names of those White House advisers were Dick Cheney, current U.S. Vice-President, and Donald Rumsfeld, current Secretary of Defense. They have never been questioned as to what they knew about Olson's death.
