i was married in high school. i was only 16. he was 18 and had joined the navy. his father did not approve of the marriage, and told his son that while he was away at boot camp, that i was with another man. he encourage his son to file for divorce. and he did. all my letters to his family had went unanswered. now 30+ years later, i got in touch with his sister whom i was always fond of. she tells me how their father was the one who wanted the divorce to happen and that her brother has always loved me. we are both in a relationship in which we have been for more than 5 years each. the sister is trying to play matchmaker and wants me to talk to him. should i get in touch with him, or should i let the past stay in the past?

At least talk to him so the truth is known between you two...but DON'T betray the one you're with now...

Thank you, Kevin, for your advice. I do think that we need to at least clear the air, so to speak. We were both so young that I feel there is no need to blame either of us. But I would like to at least tell him how I felt back then. There are a lot of details that are a little fuzzy. After all, 30 years is a long time. I live in the south now, but lived in love’s park as a child. Matter of fact, marquette elementary was my first school. Is it still there?

How would you feel about your guy getting in touch with one of his exes? You'd freak out, like any other woman.

First ? why did you after 30 years get in touch with sister whom you were so fond of ? What are you looking for? Do not do anything until you talk to your boyfriend.. If you care for him at all.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
