Chicago teen shot in May dies

Relatives of Rakeem Robinson never gave up hope the teenager would recover from a gunshot wound he suffered in May.

As far as the story goes, this had nothing to do with gangs. It was foolish young men fooling around with a gun. Apparenly they did not have the knowledge needed to handle a weapon.

This is crazy. It is the parents really to blame. I feel bad that people are losing their children at such a young age. But what are 15 year olds doing playing with a gun. That is just pure craziness. When I was that age my parents always went through our stuff read everything we had. And I grew up on the Chicago streets. These parents are seing what is going on and so many kids are dieing from gun shot wounds. Go through your kids things and start acting like parents and be involved. You see your kids hanging out with bad people if they don't want to stop hanging out with them and not listen to you don't let them out of the house till they obey you. The parents should be take responsibility!
