P town needs help

Anyone on here live in P town or visit? If u do you know what this is about. This town is infested with drugs, I know its wvery where but this is a small town. They have a Marshal why can't he do something? Everybody seems to know who"s doing it, where they are getting it, why don't the Marshall know? Does he care?

theres drugs all over ptown. im from there & something does need 2 be done but nobody gives a shit. most of my friends from provencal are on drugs, thats why i dont say anything but someone should...

this is the best answer I've heard so far and thats what needs to be done. All the drug free people stick together on the ones we love and go for it. There is so few of us left that is drug free.

they are very close friends but no matter what i do to help them get & stay off of drugs, they just wont do it but that doesnt mean im going 2 abandon them. i love my friends, whether they r drug users or not. i cant make them change their minds...

are u going to use that excuse at their funeral they were my friends so i dident save their life!what a joke ur one of those thats gonna hang on the casket instead of doing something to help them before the coffin uh?with friends like u i sure wouldnt want any enimies!that a weak stupid excuse to let people die for,because you'd rather bury them, than do whatever and i do mean whatever the law whatever rather than bury them!but it takes a backbone to stop and stand up for whats right if everybody turned in every single druggie they knew then there would be some hero's left in this wrold stand up for what right life get a back bone and come together and the whole wrold could be a better place!but everybody wants to bury their head while only a handful have enough backbone to take a stand-if u dont stand for something you'll fall for anything-pay it forward save a friend thats the least anyone should do.but it takes guts to get ur head out of the sand-and only a few tears on the back row or front of the church or funeral home to say goodbye to ur friend?give me a break !

P-Town may be full of drugs but PROVENCAL is a nice little place where the local law enforcement doesn't hassle the locals. And where is it that you live that is so drug-free? I feel safer when I go through or to Provencal than I do when I'm in some of the other surrounding communities in Natchitoches Parish.

when the local law is best friends with all the druggies,who gonna stop it,elect someone who want tolerate it,now you have someone who will look the other way while he taps one of thems ole lady!

I did not realize it was getting bad in P Town I was raised there and wanted to move back when I retire :(

If you are from there, you are saying you would hope that the local police would be strictly enforcing every time you rolled through the town's one stop-sign? Writing you hundreds of dollars of tickets for doing 26 in the 25 zone? What you are proposing is that a small town marshall start kicking in doors of people that smoke marijuana and hauling them to jail at 25 dollars a day. Seems to me that when people commit real crimes; those druggies steal from you and others, that they do go to jail, but a police state isn't formed where every drughead gets his house raided by the one guy that is elected to enforce peace in the community. And Max didn't galantly go to enforce the law Walking Tall style when he got his arm shot off. He got into somebody's business and was hiding behind a tree when he got popped. So if a communist police state is something you wish, Provencal isn't for you. You can drive sensibly and not be cost hundreds of dollars. You can't commit a crime against another and expect to get away with it. The local law has nothing to do with that; The sheriff's office is going to make money locking you up.

Curiously; still haven't realized where you are living in a drug free community to make Provencal look so terrible....
