You know, when you are starving the general population multiple times over 50+ years of oppression, it helps to have all the weapons in the hands of the government.

Eagan outlet mall plans approved; target opening date is November 2014

In two years, holiday shoppers should be crowding the south metro's first major outlet mall for its nearly 100 brand-name stores offering deals on shoes, purses and other cut-rate goods.

The Eagan City Council this week green-lighted preliminary plans by Baltimore-based Paragon Outlet Partners for a 441,000-square-foot, open-air outlet center on 29 acres near the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Minnesota 13.

Paragon Outlets at Cedar Grove would be the closest major outlet mall to the Twin Cities and the only one within the seven-county metro area. Albertville Premium Outlets and North Branch Outlets are in the fringes of the metro area.

"It's something new, something we don't have and something that will be a regional attractor," City Council member Paul Bakken said.

The proposal calls for the stores to be situated in a "racetrack" design -- facing each other around the open-air pedestrian concourse.

The design is a new approach to outlet malls and meant to boost foot traffic, said Kelvin Antill, Paragon's development partner.

Probably because we wouldn't give it to them. But no fear, Pakistan is our ally so it's all good.

China may have given N Korea a little technology too, but Pakistan also traded nuclear tech with Iran and Syria.

I forgot that Pakistan sold nuclear tech to Libya too. Dr A Q Khan I think his name was, Pakistan pretended they didn't know Khan was doing all this.

Gosh fellas! If only we had more "ally's" like Pakistan. Oh wait! We do have more ally's like Pakistan. Egypt, Israel and Saudi Arabia come to mind. Then there's Oman and the UAE. So hey, it's all good. Right?

Remember when the Taliban was our ally? It's sure good to have friends in the world.

North Korea would be very funny if they didn't have atomic bombs.

Them and Cuba and some others are goofier than sheet.
