I guess I would be more believing in what you say if Perry did care about his probation for fire arms but decided ON HIS OWN to have them, knowing full well what guns can do from his OWN experience. Perry just thought that he didn't have to follow the probation for fire arms and had them anyway, as a mother I would have made sure that my son never had another gun period, because he didn't respect it enough, Guns are NOT toys!! Cool people would follow the laws not ignore them.

Perry Confessed to 1) Sqeezing the Trigger, The Gun did not go off so he, 2) Racked it and squeezed the trigger again. Then he knowing he was not to have Guns and had just shot someone 3) Picked up the phone and dialed 9-1-1 and NEVER Spoke to Police or anyone else to tell them what happened instead he 4) Ran from the scene. Now that we have cleared up how INNOCENT Perry is let's ask this question. DID PERRY ACCIDENTALLY Keep that gun in his house when told as a condition of his probation that he was NOT TO HAVE THEM? Did Perry ACCIDENTALLY keep it LOADED? Whether it was intentional or not that he took Mark away from his family it no way in HELL was an accident. You see ACCIDENTS can be prevented. When a person REFUSES TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS it becomes NEGLIGENCE. As a Military Servicemember I have fired thousands of rounds down range. My bullets have never "Accidentally" Fired and None of the targets I hit were ever by ACCIDENT. I had to position the rifle or pistol in the direction I was aiming and I had to make a concious decision to squeeze the trigger. With that said, Perry too had many concious decisions to make and made none of them. Let's start with rule number one of Firearms Safety regardless of where it is taught. "ALWAYS TREAT THE GUN AS IF IT IS LOADED." Perry having shot himself before should have figured that out. Rule Number Two, "ALWAYS KEEP THE GUN POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION" for those that are a bit more mentally challenged that means "Hey Dumbass don't aim it at people." Rule Number 3 "ONLY AIM AT ANYTHING YOU FULLY INTEND TO MAIM KILL OR DESTROY." So far how many of the most well known rules has Perry followed? NONE. He also clearly cannot obey the law because if he could HE NEVER would have had the gun. He would have OBEYED THE LAW. Don't cry about accidents when you don't know the facts. Under Minnesota State Law Perry had been told he was not to have a gun. He was ORDERED THIS buy a JUDICIAL OFFICER making him violating that a CRIME. So by him having the gun it was a CRIME. By him taking someone's life it was also a CRIME. Funny how one action seems directly related to the other. Accidents happen because of lack of training or life experience. Negligence happens when training or life experience occurs that someone with half a brain should learn from. Even children learn not to grab pans from the stove after they get burned. Perry then should have learned NOT TO HAVE GUNS after SHOOTING HIMSELF. He had his accident. Mark was his Negligence. Your posting only tells me that not only are you uninformed, but you are also easily swayed by the talk of "My son is in jail and he's innocent." Funny thing is he confessed and plead guilty. Perhaps you can request his criminal record under Freedom Of Information Act. Sadly I hardly find it a punishment to see that criminals can access myspace from prison. That's tragic and certainly not justice.

Well I agree with some of what you say but I do have one question. Where was the crack? The cops found the weed but no crack. As far as crack goes maybe Perry was a crack baby. Who knows? But I certainly don't think that it was a crack deal gone bad.
As for the innocent, He confessed. He was read his rights and willfully and freely confessed.
I dont think I mentioned anything about a crack deal gone bad.

Let me ask who you are referring to as STUPID and DUMBASS and stating that Whoever it is doesn't live here. One thing that surprises me is that wile I am a resident of WA I WAS RAISED IN MINNESOTA AND BECAUSE OF PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT IN CERTAIN FIELDS IN MN I HAVE BECOME MADE VERY CLEAR OF WHAT SOME LAWS ARE. STUPID DOESNT SHOOT YOURSELF AND THEN ACT STUPID AFTER ANOTHER HUMAN.
