No one in their just, impartial, truthful and sane mind can approve of the police having sole oversight of/over themselves. If that were a credible probability/possibility society would be perfect at this point. The police departments of almost every state and country are notorious for abusing their power. They beat people at the drop of a hat and sometimes murder people, even on camera and try to justify their psychotic and cowardly behavior all the time. If anyone is truly serious about creating a different culture, trajectory, honoring one of the highest profession on the planetÂ…PEACE OFFICER we cannot have the evaluating and grading themselves!!! By the way, there are some truly honorable police in this warped world of ours. So lets extend that beauty by doing the right thing, we must have outside oversight, more extensive education for police and more cameras on the police.

The police in large, crime infested cities have a tough job, but liberal politics and unions have made the job harder, and the officers more corrupt. We will never hear the real story about most of the questionable instances of late. There needs to be an un-biased entity, like a grand jury, to investigate them.
