He probably just should have played golf on Wednesday afternoons just like the docs do. Rather dumb behavior for a fellow in such a visible and eminent position.

Sure like to hear the whole story.
You would thing that this guy makes enough money to hire a more reputable hooker. Not a cop.
And if your going to pay for sex be smart about it.
Ask the woman to show you some Identification
(her ****) long before you talk about money.
(Hey baby, show me some **** so I know your not a cop) A real hooker will have them out in a Flash!
Should keep you out of jail.
Lets make Prostitution legal, why not
Must not be enough real criminals around now days to keep the cops busy. "Hey, I have an idea. Let's dress Joe up like a hooker and put an ad on the internet. We'll be laughing about it for months."

And asked his wife to kiss his balls for good luck and clean his putter.

Hospital CEO's have time for Afternoon Delight on 3 hour lunch breaks. Nurses can't get a cup of coffee on a 12 hour shift.
Himle & Horner, clean-up needed in Isle 4.

As someone who worked in health care settings for many years, I can say without any hesitation that the back stories and documentation thereof of local prostitutes being treated for everything from horrifying physical abuse to chemical abuse issues simply did not support the oft used phrase "victimless crime." Many came from childhood sexual abuse backgrounds, were exploited as young teen runaways, and/or turned tricks to maintain drug addictions. The intimidation methods used to keep some of these women or young adolescents in line by their pimps probably could not be discussed openly in this newspaper as the graphic details would be too much for the average reader.
Not to mention the customer's family members who are ultimately victimized by the unknown exposure to STDs that are not resolved by simply using a condom, as well as the relationship betrayal involved.
While what you say is true, you are dealing with street level prostitutes who are high on crack. Call girls are in a different league.

PIONEER PRESS: publish the names of the other 13 perps when and if they are charged with a crime, no matter how "important" or high profile they are. The RICHFIELD 14 all took the risks and they should all take the consequences.
No, the PP should not publish anyone's names, just the fact that x number of people were arrested in a prostitution sting. Publishing their names is unfair, sensationalistic tabloid reporting. Do they mention the names of people arrested for Jay Walking?....Littering...or other misdemeanor crimes? NOW, because it is does not sell paper and feed the public's interest in taboo stories!

Why is this even news worthy? He was no doubt suspended without pay pending the outcome of ivestigation - that's just something most companies have in their HR Policies that if you are charged with a crime it has to be reported to HR immediately.
Where are the other names? Pictures? This happened last week too with a teacher - and again the only name printed was his.
I would think the police would be more concerned with busting the drug dealers or stopping the shootings around town and not worrying about consenting adults engaging in some extra curricular entertainment.
Shooters don't pay the police's quotas. Creating a sting operation and entrapping people does. It's like a speed trap,...it creates income for police, government and lawyers so they can go out and buy spiffy new boats for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In the media who gets to decide what career to trash? Is it only the person with the biggest title? This isn't unbiased reporting, it is social engineering by the liberals at the papers. Fair reporting would be to list and show the photograph of everyone arrested. Each of these men are important to someone. They should be equally crucified.
Wrong. No one should be reported on. The story is ' nine men got arrested on suspicion of wanting to engage in prostitution'. Publishing names, etc...is wrong. No one is convicted anyway. The media needs to uphold a higher level of journalism and not use it's power to try people by media. What a tabloid ! Don't subsribe !

Absurd, that prostitution isn't legal and why is it anybody's business what Mr. Cress did other than his wife's.

The anger and outrage should be directed at the police for wasting our tax money setting up citizens for a victimless crime.

The cops are the criminals here.

Let the newspaper do an audit of how much tax money was spent on this police exercise, if it pays for itself no problem, if not shut this nonsense down!
