By electing this crooked bum to the Presidency, clowns like the Seattle Slime and his like has bought America to it's knees ( which, by the way is the Slime's favorite position). And by opening the border to a new bunch of dependents, they have assured the demise of a once powerful and beautiful home of the brave and the free. The axhole in the White House (a misnomer, if there ever was one), has been given permission by the dependent majority which now infests our nation, to dirty their nest, without any regard to the axe hat hangs over their head, when the piper demands his due.
It's time to turn viscous on these maggots, and rid the world of them in our time.

Right now he's letting dangerous Mexican gangs AND racist anti american la raza operatives cross the border to further infest the nation and destroy it. This scumbag and his "new world order" need to be stopped immediately!

If emails are missing the IT operation should be fired. Everything Government does should be backed up and secured.

Cybersecurity expert Morgan Wright strongly doubted former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner’s claim that she lost two years of emails sought by Congress for their investigation into inappropriate IRS targeting of Tea Party rules.

“Jimmy Hoffa is hard to find, not Lois Lerner's e-mails,” Wright said.

He added Lerner’s excuse “doesn't pass the sniff test, not with the millions of dollars that the government has spent building these back-up systems and not with the millions of dollars I know the IRS has spent with several companies who specialize in electronic discovery so that they can preserve this information. No, that dog doesn't hunt.” Wright said he could recover the e-mails, and simply declared “give me the hard drive. It’s that simple.”

He concluded “the IRS must think we're all stupid. The idea that so many people like yourself say that there is no way this could happen in 2014, it is unbelievable that it is the excuse they've given.”

I think that we can officially call this IRS GATE:

The IRS cannot find emails from six additional employees involved in the IRS targeting scandal, in which the officials applied extra scrutiny to conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status.

House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp said one of those employees is Nikole Flax, who was chief of staff to then-Deputy IRS Commissioner Steve Miller. Miller was fired from the IRS after the targeting scandal broke, and Republicans have been seeking Flax’s emails as a way to uncover more evidence about the scandal.

Hey, stuff happens...

Even if ALL of the hard drives crashed just as the say, their server is set up to save the last 6 months of data. Once the bad hard drives were replaced, it would have been a simple step to restore those 6 months worth of data.

Whoever came up with this story obviously has no experience in this area, otherwise, they would have come up with a better story.

Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX)- Why shouldn't taxpayers be allowed to use the same excuses the IRS, and other elements of our imperial government, deploy when they get in trouble?

Stockman offered legislation that would require the IRS to accept any of the following reasons when we can't meet their demands for documentation:
1. The dog ate my tax receipts
2. Convenient, unexplained, miscellaneous computer malfunction
3. Traded documents for five terrorists
4. Burned for warmth while lost in the Yukon
5. Left on table in Hillary’s Book Room
6. Received water damage in the trunk of Ted Kennedy’s car
7. Forgot in gun case sold to Mexican drug lords
8. Forced to recycle by municipal Green Czar
9. Was short on toilet paper while camping
10. At this point, what difference does it make?
But don't worry, Stockman's bill would not mean the total collapse of our tax system. "In any case, IRS can see the NSA for a good, high quality copy," the Act concludes.

The obstructionist already have over 2500 IRS emails, how many do you need to have a valid case against them? so now why don't you crooked liars just make up some e-mails to validate your witch hunt? that's the only way you can win anything with your nonsense, and Stockman along with paul Ryan is full of Sheet.

I quit worrying about running out of time years ago when people were shooting at me, something you know nothing about. If you think an approval rating under 39% to be something to be proud of, that completes the picture of you.

The IRS has had a contract with an email archiving company, Sonasoft, since 2005.

This reminds me of an out state Mn firearms dealer who kept records of his sales on paper. You see the ATF has a database app for firearms dealers that it like dealers to use. However this out state dealer chose to use a paper system. Well the ATF came calling and "invited" the dealer to St Paul for an "interview". In retrospect the dealer wished he had a lawyer along because the "interview" was a part of an investigation. The dealer ended up out of business because of ATF actions.

And in this case the IRS loses emails from the last 6 months, this is a crime. I have emails on my home PC from 6 years, ever since I bought the PC. Maybe more because if the HD was scoured there are deleted files out there that still exist but need to be extracted by a scanning of the HD.

A "professional" organization such as the IRS should have every Email from the begging of time, short of that and the IRS is running a criminal operation.

Furthermore, I have a friend retired from the IRS. She said when she found an error on a form she would make the taxpayer squirm during the audit interview. The IRS is a terrorist organization and should be eliminated by implementing a flat tax with no IRS forms to fill out at the end of the year. No deductions or other attempts to encourage taxpayers to contribute to charities etc. And now lost Emails, time to hurl.. Clean up Government!!

They are lying. Plain and simple. Emails are not missing. They exist somewhere. On disk, on tape, on a flashdrive, somewhere, they exist.
If they truly are missing, it's because someone ordered the IT people to destroy them.
If I were one of those IT people, I would have made a backup before I destroyed them if at all possible.

If he/she did that they would have to escape the USA like Snowden. The Gestapo would be after his/her arse. They would not be a whistle blower but a traitor. You can do the right thing in the USA but the system WILL find a way to persecute you for some reason.

USA broken!
