I never said anything about blood alcohol level before Adam passed away. And all I am saying about defamation is that is that if you are stating the Truth you cannot (and obviously should not) be sued for defamation. I am done - no more posts - because there is nothing left to say.

Well that makes it much better that you waited until he passed away to post his blood alcohol content. The truth has to have sources which you never stated and refused to state. There has to be some crime in that..
I am so glad that you are done!! As a person just previously stated, you are posting this garbage on every site you can find and it needs to stop. If the newspapers are not stating it, then you should not either. Thank you for being done...

Remarkably, many people do not understand that the newspapers are frequently incorrect.

Adam Bakerís blood alcohol level was .24, which is three times the legal limit for driving. It's clear he was was out in that dark bar parking lot with some of his friends to fight; they obviously didn't go out there to play horseshoes. Tuomisto saw Baker and his friends beating up one of HIS friends, so he admirably went over to pull them off. But while Tuomisto was attempting to pull them off, Adam and his friends attacked Tuomisto, who threw that one punch in self defense. Because Adam was so drunk, he had no balance, causing him to fall. Adam's inebriation also prevented him from breaking his fall. As a result, he fell directly on his head. VERY sad. Obviously a fluke accident caused by Adam's extreme drinking.
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about, or you are "friends" with Alex. I just attended Adam's funeral on Friday.
My friends were all with Adam that night, who chose to walk away from that bar and go home. They had been out having fun prior to Tuomisto walking out of the bar, and walking up behind Adam, and punching him in the BACK of the head. There was no fight prior to this! Get your facts straight before you open your mouth. Alex is a coward.. end of story.

Alex, at the beginning, asked the cop "When can I tell my story?" Hundreds of Alex's family and friends have known for over seven months what happened. Out of respect for Adam, they have kept quiet while Alex gets savaged in the media on these forums. Alex's story will be coming out soon.
Why don't you ask your friends that were there, Chris, Doug, and both Dans, why they changed their stories after they sobered up? Those statements were all the police had that night and all the media could go on. To a man they said they were too drunk to remember much. Ask them why they started the fight outside with another guy, not Alex? Alex hasn't changed one word of his story in seven months and there are witnesses who say the same. By the way, there are several witnesses who say Alex hit Adam in the jaw. Finally, ask Adam's "friends" why they put Adam in that position, extremely drunk and engaged in fighting. It's time they man up and start telling the truth.

Since Life Altered didn't respond, I assume Adam's "friends" did not like to be outed by him. I'm sure they want to stay below the radar. That isn't going to happen what with the jury trial coming up. A couple of corrections for Jay's posting. The BAC was .23 per hospital records and the "friend" that Alex came to help out, Eric, is no friend of Alex, just an aquaintence. Nevertheless, Eric was outnumbered by five to one. I guess Alex is a "coward" for taking on those odds. The real cowards are Chris, Doug, Dan and Dan for lying to the cops, changing their story in their witness statements, then going back to telling the lie at the funeral. I give Adam the benefit of the doubt and think he would act more like an honest man and tell what really happened. Again, Life Altered, since you are such good friends of theirs, ask the "friends" why they put Adam in that position? They wish it was end of story.

Did they ever post the BAC of Adam anywhere?

No. If an enterprising reporter wants to find out what really happened, he/she can go the Wright County Courthouse. Ask for the Defendant's Memorandum of Law in Opposition to State's Intent to Seek an Aggravated Sentence. This describes what happened that night, who some of the witnesses are, how they changed their stories after they sobered up and what Adam Baker's BAC was at he hospital. It is public record.

For those of you harping on Jay for stating Adam's BAC, are you not doing the same by saying all the garbage you THINK happened? It is not a fact, and you have not disclosed your "sources" so therefore...SHUT UP! Do you know for a FACT that Adam was hit in the back of the head versus the jaw? Straight from Alex's mouth says the jaw, is Adam here to tell you where he was hit? And his friends were apparently "too drunk to remember." As far as I'm concerned, two people know the full story, Adam and Alex. Even if you were standing there and think you know, you remember what sounds good to you, believe what you want to believe, and most of all, you were drinking, which tends to alter memories. Get it through your heads that no matter what you think, no matter what Adam's loved ones think and no matter what Alex's loved ones think, it is not up to us. It is in the courts and far out of our hands so the bickering needs to stop. The truth will come out. Wait for it before spouting off what you think, cuz truth is, no one cares and each and every person on here has a different opinion. All who write are only making it worse. For both Adam's memory and Alex's life, have respect and keep opinions to yourselves, you won't change anything.
