Scott Appalachian is hiring and Oneida Nursing Home, and a few others I can't remember who else except for truck drivers. They all had ads in the paper. Might also try www.knoxjobs.com , or go to the unemployment office at TN Technical School in Oneida and see what they got available. But sometimes in hard times you gotta go where the jobs are for what you do. Depends on what y can do.

There is no unemployment office in Oneida now, nor in LaFollette. The nearest one is in Crossville, if I'm not mistaken.

That online site above can be used, but I do believe there is still an office open in Oneida at the tech school a couple of days a week only. You can call the school and ask. And sometimes places around here need just some temp help, but that get's your foot in the door or a recommendation if you do a good job.

Depends on what you can or want to do. I also heard that the new Taco Bell locale is taking apps. but don't know for sure. You can't get a job anywhere if you don't apply for them.

Just beware working for a owner op, find a good company that's established. You don't want to wind up paying self employment tax without any deductions. Trucking is a Hard life and hard on the family. just my opinion thou
