international Experience-USA (iE) is a non-profit student exchange organization and U.S. Department of State designated J-1 Visa Sponsor. We are currently seeking loving families in Southwestern VA to host high school foreign exchange students who will arrive in August to study in local high schools for the upcoming school year for 5 or 10 months.
In order to qualify, at least one host parent must be over the age of 25, the host family must complete an application and home visit, and each member of the household age 18 or older must complete a criminal background check.
The students have their own travel, medical and liability insurance, as well as their own personal spending money for eating out, going out with friends, school and sport supplies, clothing, toiletries, etc.
If you are interested or would like more information - please respond with your email and we will promptly reach out to you!
***Note: There is a tax deduction available to host families ($500 a year or $250 a semester).
