nTelos Wireless, where the “Difference is Savings,” today announced that Virginia Tech football fans can begin registering for 2013 Pass-For-Cash contests, which take place at halftime during home football games.
Football fans from James Madison University and the University of Richmond can sign up to participate as well. The program is also debuting for the first time at Marshall University in Huntington, WV.
Fans interested in registering for the contest can log onto , or look for nTelos Wireless Pass-For-Cash interactive fan booths at an upcoming JMU, VA Tech, University of Richmond and Marshall University football games. Each school has a Pass-For-Cash event and fans can enter the FREE contest as often as they like.
“As the official wireless provider for VA Tech football, JMU, UR and Marshall athletic programs, we are excited to continue Pass-For-Cash – a fun and interactive program that gives something back to football fans,” said Conrad Hunter, chief operating officer of nTelos Wireless.“Our partnering universities depend on nTelos Wireless services every day, and Pass-For-Cash is a unique way of communicating the outstanding value that nTelos Wireless represents.”
Two winners from each participating university will be selected in random drawings to play Pass-For-Cash during halftime of a home football game. Selected contestants will throw regulation size footballs at a target placed 10 yards away. The first ball - thrown at a “nationwide coverage” map - determines the destination. The contestants win two round-trip tickets to the city closest to where the football lands. A second football – thrown at a “bull’s-eye target”- determines the cash amount of spending money for the trip, and ranges from $1,000 to $5,000.
In 2012, more than 8,000 fans registered for a chance to participate in Pass-For-Cash. The winning contestants took home $16,000, plus earned trips to Chicago, Miami, Minneapolis, and Phoenix. Don’t miss your chance to WIN – play Pass-For-Cash today!
