I remember my Dad used to take me there to the Kilocycle Club meetings. Somewhere in the basement offices, there was a terrazzo floor with the Ham Radio Club's logo. That was before 1970 when it moved to Oak Grove Airport.

There was a jewelry store - Cowan's Jewelers - and offices and even a large room down there where Sears did fashion shows. There was a bowling alley underground where Dillards built in the 70s. It really was a fun place

I worked at the three screen theatre northwest of the main mall from '78 to '80. I had a grandmother who worked in Murphy's in the early 60s. The last memory of Seminary South I had was the arcade "TimeOut" in '81 -'82.

Used to be able to see the SS towers from Felix St. over by the old Quartermaster. My folks still live over in that area.

Them dang Mexicans have taken over Seminary South Mall, we should go there and castrate the bastards. Those Mexxcian woman are pretty, but they grow old and ugly fast. Should line 'em up and have a mass indoctrination and make them Mormons.

I remember going there as a young child. From the eyes of a child, it was magical to me at Christmastime. They had an officlal tree lighting out in the outdoor area and that's when Santa arrived at the mall for the season. Lots of lights and pretty decorations out there. Our school choir always sang out there by the tree on a set of old risers and that was an event that no family member was allowed to miss. My parents bought all our Christmas presents at Murphy's every year. That was the good ole days!

What great times in the 60s and 70s at Seminary South. I was thinking about the mall on my way to work this morning. Almost every one I worked with there has moved to the next world. I'm missing them so much this Christmas.
