This sounds alarmingly like another case I saw on TV just a month ago... Exact same scenario. The mother disapproved of who the daughter was hanging out with, so she and her friends killed the mom and took off with her car and credit cards. If these kids got the idea from that case, they must not have watched the ending. They all went to prison for a really long time.

It sounds to me that if the daughter did not kill her Mother, she knows who did. One of the three arrested is the killer and the other two are accomplices.

It is very sad that a teen would be involved in the murder of their parent.Even if she did not kill her mom,but had something to do with it...she should serve a very long time locked up.

you can only bring up these kids the best that you can. but they have a mind of there on and they think that this boy or girl is the best thing that is out there. they think that life is right now they dont see the big picture. they just dont think that far down the road. they will never be with each other any more..
so what they have killed for they cant have!!!!

Solution, you are so wrong. You can only raise them but you cannot control them. For a teenager, all it takes is for a mother to disapprove of one thing and the child turns rebellious. It is quite obvious you haven't raised teenagers and if you have and they minded and did EVERYTHING you asked, then they had no opinions for theirselves because you and your kids are not always going to agree. How you can say she reaped is what she sowed is so wrong.

Very disturbing...
Reminds me of the Koslow murder, but that was a very high-profiled case of rich girl gone bad.

You probably shouldn't be discussing this now, since you are so close to them.

I have known Susan since the age of 3. She was the best mother should could be. She raised her children the right way. As well as did their father. This is defiently not the parents fault. It is all this violence on tv, video games ect. Children these days find violence to be the answer to all their problems. I am so broken up over this. I have lost one of my best friends that I have known for 40 years. It is not too often you hear of people being friends for that long. She will surely be misssed, remembered and I will pray for her children whether they did this or not. Funny how the boyfriend possibly stole his fathers gun but that wasn't used. Instead of arguing over who's fault it is, the bottom line is that someone has lost their life over something so senseless. Amber may have been her best friend but sometimes not everything is shared among best friends.

Jennie was...one of my friends. For all that I had know her, she never seemed the kind to do anything such as that. Rumors went all around school but it didn't fully hit me until after I had saw.
I cried though. I couldn't tell if it was for Jennifer or for her mother...

Though I can't stand knowing this; it hurts me a lot.

Unreal...I'm sure that Jennifer's little brother David wasn't involved, more or less had to go along with her so that he couldn't call the cops. The kids' father even thought that it was all Jennifer but I guess we'll see when they get back what they all have to say about it. I think that Jennifer and her juvenile delinquent boyfriend master planned it all.

As a family member, we are still trying to put the pieces together in this. Everyone can judge, but the only ones that really know what happened are Jennifer, David and Paul. Who's to say that they Did or Didn't commit the crime. But if they are being held in South Dakota on suspicion and being extridited back to Texas, wouldn't you think that they had some knowledge of what happened. So all of you who comment on this, Think about what you say and if it happened in your family.

I know that the mom (Susan) had gotten divorced from Richard less than a year ago. There is also talk that the dad had physically and sexually abused the kids, however, he is not listed in the Texas sex offender registry so perhaps that information is something that Jennifer just shared among those who knew her.

I really don't believe the abuse part myself but if it is true, then maybe she took out her hurt and anger against her dad out on Susan.

Congratulations BUD..do you have nothing better to do than to go thru and make childish remarks? AND then comment when someone disapproved? Well no wonder they disapproved as your comment was insane. Most of the people that are commenting on here have NOTHING of value to add to this "forum". You people thrive off of other people's pain. Grow up..and if you are grown...this the probably the same man who was keying the hummers in Southlake.

Court records indicate that Ms. Bailey had been raising her two children as a single parent since May 9, 2006, when she and her husband separated. Richard and Susan Bailey were married in 1988 and divorced in late 2006, records show. Both of the children were born in California.

Mr. Bailey, who did not appear in court when the divorce was finalized on Dec. 27, 2006, was allowed to have only supervised visits with the children under the terms of the divorce.

Standard visitation was not applicable in this case "due to prior involvement with and recommendation by Child Protective Services," according to the divorce papers.

Marissa Gonzales, a spokeswoman for CPS, said she could not comment on the information in the court documents, but she said the Bailey children have never been in the agency's custody.

Mr. Bailey could not be reached for comment. His sister, Jodie Medlock, declined to comment Tuesday on the terms of her brother's divorce or the charges against her niece and nephew.

First off this is a public form and people have the right to air their opinions. Solutions post while perhaps dis respectful of the dead was neither rude or abusive and did not need to be sensored. Whether an opinion adds value or not is not your decision (thank goodness).

Yes many remarks on this forum can be perceived as childish, wrong, inapplicable assumptions are made etc... But that does not give you the right to stiffle our right to free speech. Providing we are not abusive or threatening, neither of which Solution did.

It is clearly okay to disagree with others and remember the inflections you put in are your own.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Libra

You're ready to put a lot of energy and drive into the day, but you'll prefer it if you're doing things that have meaning and emotional significance for you. There's a chance that you could get quite heated over anything that strikes you as important now, and others could be taken aback by your vehemence. There might also be a minor dust-up over a financial matter.
