I love the flea markets. The best part is the outside vendors. There is just something about being outdoors in the sunshine looking through "older items for sale". The inside vendors have nice things too... just like being outside. I bought an old picture (20.00) two bracelets (15.00 & 20.00) and i believe that is it for this weekend.... haha.

I always find books.(I love to read!!) You cant beat 2 for 1 dollar,or 1 dollar for a hardback! Yes, there is something about being out in the sunshine looking thru 'stuff'!! I got a watch for 5.00, a like new litter box for my cats,8.00 (she wanted 10.00. You always check to see if they will take less. They expect that i guess! I think it is so relaxing after a hard week at work!

Did you go this weekend? It was even more packed than the last? Do you just do this every now and then or weekly? I try to go weekly and yes, it really really is great. Do you go to the one in Jonesborough?

No Hamptonite, i didnt go this weekend. I had to work both sat and sun. I was just too tired to go. Ive been working xtra shifts and it caught up with me i suppose! Ha! Anyway, ive been going thru all my "junk" this week. Im planning on going this sunday, the 7th, to sell. I dont go to jonesborough very often. I like the one in bluff city better!

There is definately good traffic flow for selling. Hope you do well. I enjoy Jonesborough but it is a longer drive from H-town and when it is hot there is absolutely no cover but i still enjoy it.

Thank- you, i hope i do too. I guess thats the reason i dont go to jboro, too long a drive. Even if you dont sell alot, its still fun! Most of the time people will buy the stuff you think wont sell! HA!

What kinds of things do you sell? Old stuff? You know really the old antique and vintage stuff is really going like hot cakes. I bet you meet all kinds of interesting people when you are selling at the flea market.

I just go thru the house and decide what i want to get rid of.I buy things then get tired of them! Plus, my husband gripes about all the 'junk' in here! Yeah, i like the old antique stuff too. Alot of it is expensive.

You know... it surprises me but people really seem to rummage through old Mason jars.... there is a real market for them. I wouldn't know what to look for in the way of buying old stuff at a good price ... so i just buy what i think is pretty.... lol. The one thing I don't look through is clothing....don't know why, but that is something that doesn't attract my attention.

Thats the way i am. If i see something i think is pretty or something one of my kids would like, i get it. Im hoping it dont rain sunday. I look thru clothes every once in awile. Some people buy clothes at the flea mkt and some dont. I have found some nice leather jackets there.

My daughter looks thru the clothes but she is 16 and of course that makes a difference. anything holister or abercrombie she goes crazy for... plus it is good for me because i can't afford to go to the mall and make such purchases. It isn't supposed to rain Sat or Sun i don't think. Supposed to be less humid Sat and 82, i think. Good weather for your selling..... here's hoping you do AWESOME!!!!

I have absolutely no idea where to hang the last three i have bought but they catch my eye and at a good price i can't seem to pass them up! Dang it! I too got my arms red. Glad you did well and had a good time!

My mom kept asking me if i wanted to go look around at stuff to buy. I dont usually look to buy when im there to sell. I know what you mean about not being able to pass stuff up! Pretty soon Hamtonite, you will have to take a load to sell, if you keep buying pictures!!!! Ha! Ha!

So true...... so true. I just can't seem to keep the good deals at bay though. There are 3 pictures recently purchased sitting on my dining room table... i have thought for days about where to put them or re-arrange to utilize them but to no avail.... haha. I thought maybe the covered bridge and all the yards sales in the paper (did you see all those ads?) would have decreased the crowd but it didn't seem to. My friend had a yard sale this past weekend and she made over 300.00..... ever think of the good ol' yard to sell? Might cut down on the work.

Your friend done really good at her sale! Yes ive thought of having a yard sale but i think i would have more customers at the flea mkt. i might have a yard sale one day. We have dogs and a couple of them are not real friendly with strangers. That would be a hassle having to let them out to use the bathroom. Anyway, for me its easier to go to the flea mkt>

Yes, considering all that you have going on i would say it easier to go to the flea market, plus you get to be in a different environment than usual and meet new people. Much more of a traffic draw too!

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Aquarius

With so much to do and so much on your mind, you may feel scattered today. It will be easy to forget dates and appointments, so consider setting an alarm to remind you of important meetings. You may be a bit over-extended and preoccupied at the same time. The telephone may be ringing constantly, providing yet another distraction. Try to focus.
