Sosh, i agree with you about the bad mouthing when it goes to far, but there are things that definitetly need to be addressed. I for one would welcome the Birchfields to coach this bunch because they know games are won and lost in the line. We need line coaches and we need level headed coaches. Also, back when you played, only 5 or 6 players out of 30 were dedicated to the weight room. The biggest difference between now and then is you guys had more pride. When losing hurts so bad you want to die, then you are more willing to take steps to make sure it don't happen

You have to understand that the school does not have alott of kids and its hard to play a game whenever its just about all the same boys.. You would get tired and most of the schools they play have 2 to 3 times more boys on the sideline ready to go whenever one gets tired.. You need to think about that..

Just critics - I hope someone does step up and coach these boys. Birchfield or whoever. You are also right about the weight room, but I dont think that was our strong point. Our strong point was when we stepped on that field all the simple bull that goes on day to day was done. We played ball as a team and you are right it pissed us off when we lost. We didnt make excuses we just practiced harder the next week and tried to walk all over the team that we played next. I also agree that anything that is done is a result of the line, offense and defense.
Boomber - I dont know what you are talking about as far as haveing a lot of people. I can probably still name the starting offense, defense, and special teams when I played. We all played the whole game. I put that on the coaching not having them ready, or the guys not wanting to win. I didnt want to miss a play when I was playing. And I can name all the others that didnt either, BJ Arnett, Brandon Johnson, David Stewart, Jamie Jones, Brian-Kevin-Keith Russell, I could go on but I think you get my point. If the kids didnt want to win they wouldnt play. If they are playing someone just has to get in there and figure out how to get them winning. They definitely dont need all the parents and town talking shit about the team like I said before.

How can you win with Kendall coaching the offense? It's never going to happen. He needs to go now. I am moving my son because I don't want him playing baseball for Kendall. He doesn't know anythig about the game. We've got someone like Rusty Chambers up here who could help these kids but nobody cares. I'm tired of all this crap. We need football and baseball coaches.

dang! Youns is the most unrealistic people in the world! Before you burn this guys house down lets look at the facts. At the end of the game, here is what he had to work with on offense, a freshman qb, two freshman guards, a freshman blocking back, a sophomore fb, and a sophomore tackle. I don't care who you that's a lot of young kids playing on friday night! I don't think Kendal called for two fumbles inside the 20 yard line either. This Highlander team is young, small and don't have no numbers. Instaed of moving your kid Fed Up get him to play football.

I hate to admit it but Fed Up is right on one thing and wrong on another. We need a good young coach in baseball that can teach our kids how to play. Softball was much better last year but baseball takes a back seat to everything.
The wrong thing is take your child and leave. Our school is small so losing kids hurts all the athletic programs. If you have a concern go talk to Randy or Lance. I didn't know Rusty was back at Cloudland. He's a good coach and so is his brother Kenneth Chambers. I am glad they came to Cloudland. My son likes both of them.

Okay, here goes: This is not the NFL. There are not hundreds of coaches waiting in line to coach a single a football team. The coaching supplement is only a couple thousand dollars not hundreds of thousands or a million. A person would have to be out of their ever loving mind to coach football in roan doesn't really matter if you are a winning coach or a losing coach in rm because you will eventually be "ran off." Just ask Coach Lunsford and Coach Keith and Coach Turbyfill. Don't get me wrong. It is very sad to see our boys struggle and I want them to do well and have a good coach. I just think that sometimes everyone should get some perspective on things.

<quoted text> nobody tough enough? You're the one on drugs. There's plenty of tough kids at Cloudland. And good enough shape? Just because I don't play football doesn't mean I'm not in shape.
no it means you just like the rest of them just plain lazy.

It is going to take a good coach at least 4 years to turn this program around. A good coach and a lot of talent. There are no good coaches lined up to take the job. Buckle up for a long ride because unless the other teams talent drops off, this is where we are.
