Longtime Wickford staple closes its doors

He just didn't make a go of it, I guess There's a typewritten "Closed" sign on the door at Wickford Gourmet. Inside, a chalkboard still offers a 30-percent discount on the entire stock - between Feb. via Providence Journal

I loved the atmosphere of the place and occationally would sit upstairs on my laptop but I could not help but think that they needed to do a bit more with the service.
The high cost of Wickford rent, lower than normal foot traffic and a lack of parking I am sure did not help.
