Chief Reiss used to live in my town. His wife always thought she was above the law here too. Its unfortunate that such a nice guy has to put up with such a self centered bimbo like her. He's a good family man.

I have vivid memories of her walking down the street with an open beer.

She definitely thinks she's too good for Riverside, OH as well. They still haven't moved into our city, rent in the snobbiest neighborhood in Dayton, and she wasn't shoplifting kid's clothes, either! It was all for her. Brace yourselves Michigan, they will be back soon enough.

Chief Reiss is not such a good person either. Whenever a citizen has a complaint about one of his officers, he blatantly ignores it, no matter how many times there are complaints. He even goes out of his way to ignore the unlawful actions his officers take against a person in order to get that person's good name soiled and ensure that the person is made to look like a criminal. Furthermore, there is a comment on a story on WDTN-TV website which states someone knew about an incident in his past where he found a couple in their car having sex, and told them to continue while he watched. Many of his officers are corrupt, from the deputy chief, M.A. Brown, to Sergeants Jeff Trego and Sergeant Harold Jones, to officers like Michael Sullivan and David Schmidt, to name only a few. One officer, Detective James Vance, used to be a beat cop, knows all their tricks, and knows what they are doing is wrong, but is unwilling to come forward because he cares more about keeping his job than doing it. There are no honorable cops in Riverside, Ohio police department. And the city council knows about alot of what goes on and does nothing to investigate it or stop it. They are in the process of trying to settle a lawsuit against Riverside for unlawful actions committed by Sergeant Harold Jones and one other officer against a Tipp City resident, Roy Call. Mark Reiss, in the Dayton Daily News story about that pretty much says that he stands behind the actions of his officers in that instance.
