"The landlord would have to ask you for legal documents," said Flor Gonzalez, president of Plainfield's Latin American Coalition. "It's scary. They would have taken copies of your passport and Social Security number." ..........

Yea I guess that would be scary FOR PEOPLE THAT DONT HAVE A PASSPORT OR LEGAL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. Moron.

i wonder if these illegal immigrants were being directed to the judge's neighborhood whether or not the judge would feel differently and not dismissed the lawsuit. things like this are always considered until it hits home......the judge's home.

You mean kind of like citizens have landlords take copies of their driver's license or state ID card and their social security number?

Why the special, preferential treatment for illegal aliens?

The suit accused the landlord of recruiting illegal immigrants, segregating tenants based on race and steering low-income tenants and undocumented immigrants to dilapidated properties.

why not steer them straight to the Governor's MANSION!
