So now we are going to have to pay a yearly tax
just to live/drive in our village.Scheck says
directly tied to police and fire services.
That is a load of bull. Most municipalities in the
U.S. don't have that tax but have police and fire dept. personnel. Also he's got red light cameras on the plan to also increase revenue.
What the hell is going on in this village!
Village meeting is on Monday 6 PM April 7 2008.
Please come and tell this tax and spender what you think of these hairbrained schemes.

I'm all for revenue for supplementing town services but this sticker fee and recent changes to Garbage pick-up are a step backwards from the perks we enjoy as residents living in the town.
We still have alot of elderly folks and singles who occupy one home and keep their cars garage kept , maybe they should've kept one free vehicle sticker per address and charged higher for additional vehicles , not that everyone would feel that it is fair but excess residents with excess cars should have excess cash .
