Think you can get away with crossing the train tracks just as the lights start to flash and the bells start to ring? Not anymore. A new law is now in effect that allows fines of up to $1,500 and 75 hours of community service for even just finishing crossing the last track at the crossing when the bells and lights first start to go. That means all vehicles, and pedestrians/bikers as well.

I swear that happened to me this weekend. I crossed right when the lights started flashing and bells started ringing and I looked to my left and I could see the train coming. But I had to, if I hit the brakes I would have stopped dead on the tracks.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Leo

Even though you usually pride yourself on being the strong silent type, love has a way of unlocking your tongue. The words coming out of your mouth may be familiar, but your sense of timing makes all the difference right now. Keep in mind that you never know how a risky gesture will work out, although you can always hope for the best. When in doubt, take the more cautious path.
