Hi Jane: I would like to know more about what this school did to you or didn't do for you. I am interested and would really appreciate your feed-back. Thanks a million

I took the EKG and Phlebotomy Tec. Classes at Mission. I did well. The classes were well taught and the classes did prepare for the National and State testing. The instructors were so very helpful and answerer all questions. For the money and the time it takes to finish the classes, weeks not months. I found this to be a great alternative to a traditional school setting. The hours are flexible and the staff is great,

It is obvious from the spelling mistakes in your post that you put real effort in your work. Is your hostility towards the school because of their lack of teaching, or your lack of effort in learning. It is not supposed to be easy.

As a current CNA student, I happen to find the instructors professional and the faculty to be extremely supportive. If you pay for school, PAY ATTENTION, study and learn. I enjoy this school so much, I intend on attending the EKG / Monitor Technician course as well. I've researched most of the schools in Los Angeles County as well as Riverside County; For the expedited course and the amount spent on tuition, I find Mission Career College to be a great value. I will be guiding my any of my friends who are interested in the medical field to speak with the staff to begin / further enhance their education. If you want a condensed, concise, course in order to expedite your availabilty in the job market. Mission Career College is worthy of your time.

As a Registered Nurse product of a "scam LVN program", may I suggest u really do your homework and research prior to enrollment. understand what it meand to be accredited and/or approved by BVNPT, the State and various other agencies.# of students enrolled, completed entire course, and NCLEX passing rate (this speak volumes). These and other Vocational schools are alike Not all but some. As with anything in life, it is what you make of it, your success is in your hands scam or no scam. The price is WAY OVER THE TOP! and bve prepared you may just "SCAMED" on your financial aid. Be familiar with the FAFSA dates and possible entitlements. Know what to expect when you recieve your SAR in the mail and your EFC. it can and for me was very overwhelming. It was a great learning experience much needed as a SRN. yes my LVN school was full of doo doo but my instruction was solid in part because i worked that much harder to get it. good luck to all considering to further studies. If LVN program cost $1,500.00. DONT DO IT, ROBBERY. the community college prereqs are minimal (anatomy 10) instruction is pretty much RN level and they have inside advantage and are placed 3rd semester of RN above most. I am sharing my experience which was long ago more than 10yrs. Seems nothing has changed except the price tag.

The teacher is really nice but there is so many cons to this school because your practically teaching yourself , you get this book and the teacher ''reviews'' what you have already read at home, maybe 50 pages out of 650 page book and the rest you still have to study on your own because the state of California allows certain thing to be thought ''but'' your still going to take a state exam that requires knowledge of the whole book not 50 pages , i would not attend this school again for any of their other classes , Riverside Adult School offers a CNA course that only costs $550 theirs is $1800 ... Also the front desk clerk is vary moody...

I took their CNA program in dec and there were only 4 of us in the class due to a lack of ppl wanting to join due to the holidays. I think the fact tht there were only 4 of us made the class really enjoyable. There was one theory instructor, Kandy Ahpuck, she was a good instructor and answered all our questions but there were times she'd get very off topic and opinionated which bothered me. There were two other instructors Terry & Ms. Mosley both of whom I absolutely enjoyed learning from. For the clinical sites, we went to 5 different facilities. Many complained tht they didn't like havin to go to so many different places but I thought it was a great tool bc in reality each facility had their own procedures and it taught us to be versatile which is what we're going to face as we're job hunting. Overall I very much enjoyed my time with mission career. Just be weary of their receptionist, she's very keen on making you join other programs they offer. My advice is to shop around a bit for other schools, their course is 1800 which I found to be reasonable in comparison to other schools. However, I learned that Summit had an ROP that offered cna for 800 tho I'm not sure what their course includes. Hope this review helps! And good luck.
