A long time before we get a chance to elect a real president. Hope we make it without too much damage. The Constitution has so far been child proof.

ah, so you believe you're perfect.
then what are you doing here on earth then? afterall, if you aren't sinning, then you should already be in heaven.
talk about pride and judgemental attitude. you're really filled with yourself aren't you?
pity you.
Do you ever read the Bible, because you really do even have a clue what I am talking about. You must be attending one of those so-called churches that teach what you want to hear and not what the Scripture teaches of which Apostle Paul did write about.
I did not say that I was perfect and if I did, please tell me where? I said that we do not practice sin as sin is defined in Scripture mainly found in Galatians Chapter 5. In everything that our family does, we think right aways "does Jesus approve of what we are doing". We have been living that type of life for many years. I also did say that in First Corinthians Chapter 5, Apostle Paul talks about what should happen to a Christian if he falls from Grace and it is very clear what God expects. I also quoted from First Corinthians Chapter 3 which talks about building your foundation on Christ. He says "Are you building your foundation on wood, hay or stubble or are you building your foundation on gold, silver or precious stones?". Wood, hay and stubble is not referring to sin as sin is defined in Scripture, for the Scripture says that "Should we sin that Grace may abound? God forbid. Wood, Hay and Stubble is referring to things that do not please God at times like getting upset for something that you could work out. Being mad at a friend and not working it out etc. First Corinthians chapter 3 makes it very clear that if you put on your foundation of wood, hay or stubble (not pleasing to God), you will still be saved, yet so by fire, but there are so many verses pertaining to sins that will not be forgiven if you contine in them in Galatians Chapter 5 where it says clearly talking about sins of the flesh and they will not be forgiven in verse 17-21 and it ends up that they which do such things shall not inheret the Kingdom of God.
We believe that if we walk in the Spirit in everything that we do, we will not fall into sins of the flesh. We are extremely careful in all that we watch on TV, listening to Radio and not talk about things that God would feel that are lustful. I do not understand why a person who says that they are a Christian would not know this in the first place. Do you think for one moment that God who is our Creator would just let things of lust slide and not punish them that do those things? If that is what you believe then I pity you.

By the way, I forgot to mention that in the Book of the Debate between Alexander Campbell and Robert Owen about the "Evidences of Christianity", that there were 12,000 people that attended that assembly and only 3 stood up for Robert Owen who was a atheist. Alexander Campell had 11,997 people stand for either they were Christians already or they were seeking Christinaity future after listening to the Evidences of Christianity. I believe that after studying this Book and you are not convinced about the Truth of the Gospel of Christ, that you will probably NEVER believe the Truth. This man was considered a very brilliant man in his field of debating and he debated with alot of people. We have used this material with people hanging on the fence and they ended up believing after reading this Book and now they and their families have Christ in their Lives. May God get the Glory!!

This is a God which is the only God who created the universe. The reason you do not believe is because you are not interested, for you and others what to live the way you want to. Do you ever think what may happen to you when you are at the end of your life? Maybe you do not care right now, but when you get real sick and they say your going to die, what will you be thinking? His word is the only truth. Our God is the only God and Jesus died for not only my sins but your own. God condemns gays with their hedonistic sinful lifestyle engaging in unnatural sex with those of the same sex along with little boys. It is not too late to repent and ask for His forgiveness to avoid the pitfalls of Hell and damnation.
Suzanne...

In the course of a day, how many sins do you think you commit? Do you think of yourself as sin-free? Are you perfect?

I ask you these questions because I always find it interesting when someone spends an inordinate amount of time pointing out what they believe to be the sins of others.

You've been coming here for a month or so (maybe longer). And your comments are always filled with bits from the Books of the Bible--telling us that being gay is wrong.

Do you spend as much time perusing the Books of the Bible looking for those verses that pertain to your own shortcomings?

Matthew 7:2-5 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother,‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite!

Here's my point... You've had your say. You firmly believe that homosexuality is a sin. Maybe you think of homosexuality as a "worse sin" than the sins you personally commit.

Isn't it convenient that you choose a "so-called sin" (i.e.: homosexuality) to harp on? As a heterosexual woman who has been married for 55 years, homosexuality isn't an act that you'd likely engage in. It must be pretty easy not breaking that "sin".

Suzanne, I think you'd do better to focus on the shortcomings in your own life. We're all adults here. Most of us are aware of what the Books of the Bible say about homosexuality. And some of us (I'll speak for myself) believe that mankind simply got it wrong when they wrote about homosexuality being sinful. I believe that God made me the way that I am and intended for me to live a happy and fulfilling life. That's my faith. That's my conclusion based on my interaction with God.

Give it a rest, Suzanne.

And here's a big "THANK YOU" in advance...

I will not argue with someone who does not accept some of apostle paul's teachings. Apostle Paul was chosen by Christ himself and he would not choose someone who would go against Christ. He wrote from the revelation of Christ found in Galatians Chapter 1 verses 11-12 of which I have quoted to you before and it is obious you are not interested in what he says, so please, do not write me back for it is not working. You are another one that is on my prayer list on this forum. Remember, Jesus got mad and threw the tables over in the temple because they were disobeying God, so if I sound upset, that does not mean that I am sinning for that is a emotion. For if you look through Scripture, God was very angry with his creation and he destroyed mankind (except for Noah and his family) during the flood and he also destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah and with what is happening right now with Syria, this may be the beginning of he end times, so you should be focusing on your own life and not mine.

U R right on! We cannot tolerate these blasphemers anymore, and I agree with you that they all should be deported and forced to eat the dust of the desert and fall into the pits of hell for not believeing and for crying out to god to let them be blasphemers, claiming to believe ion that devil's evolution and stalin's socialist security and godless education where these false sciences are taught. Why should we tolerate when HE does not tolerate nor should we and so we should confiscate all of their worldly goods and cars and deport them to the hot place and then they will whine at the gates and we can mock them while we drive around and honk. Christ died for all for us to do this would be even too little so there may be more. Bless you for realizing this. God bless us all, but not them who are different or strange, for we KNOW what they are up to.
