4 Alligators Found Roaming LI in a Week
The four alligators that turned up on Long Island this week were probably pets abandoned by naive or uneducated owners, according to an expert at Riverhead's Long Island Aquarium.

I'm not sure if this is true but for some reason I believe that if you did have an alligator and didn't know what to do with it....you can bring it to a zoo or another wildlife facility w/out getting in trouble!
If this is true it maybe should be voiced so people don't dump an alligator or maybe a venomous snake that could kill or hurt someone. If its not true...maybe it should be. Give people a way out of their dumb mistakes they may have made! Just my thoughts....
