I think you've been brainwashed. I hope you never need a gun that might save your own life one day. Guns are not your enemy.

Absolutely right!!! Assuming that he was breaking and entering she should have just let him come in and kill her. Self defense is NO reason to use a gun!!!!! What a stupid comment comparing self defense with road range and dirty looks!!! It's people like you that shouldn't have the guns!

Words never spoken so truer. Let the facts come out as they may, there is more to this story than what appears in the media.

Please do not rush to judgment on this incident. We do not know the details.
There are plenty of cases where the male spouse have been set up to be taken out in this fashion. And people run around automatically assume the woman is the innocent victim and the male is the aggressor.
Let's wait for the facts on this one.

the holiday are getting sadder and sadder every year. my uncle was not an agressive man especially toward his wife. i wake up here in florida and hear this news about him and a brief story before hanging up and it's crazy because they both have made impact on my life and i can't bring myself to tears cause it seems so fake, such a bad dream and horrible way to wake up and answer your first call of the day.

Maybe you'd be mmore comfortable residing in the LIBERAL north, Alex. Or perhaps on the LEFT coast.

This story is too sketchy to draw any conclusions or pass judgments about anything other than the grammer of the previous posters.. Man, yall suck! I'm not an English major but I look pretty good compared to the competition.

I do like the references to "The Clash", kinda makes me feel young again.

I will wait fo rthe story to de velop and everything to come out. Let thiosbe a warnin gthough. If you are having issues with an ex, don't play games. Either end the relationship so that there is no way in heck you are going back or make it work with both parties giving there all equally. This is either a person who needed to be shot or a man who was set up for a fall. Either way it is a trajedy.

Everyone just needs to wait until the facts come out. And to answer your question, yes the house was his not hers. He lived in the house so why would he need to kick down the door when he had keys and could have used them? She probably set him up. The worst part about the whole situation is that they have a child together who is now going to grow up without his father. You people all need to stop passing judgement about him especially if you know absolutely nothing about him, his family, or the situation. If you take a look into his background I am pretty sure all those in favor of the wife being innocent and using seld defense would be very shocked.

It is amazing how quickly judgement is passed with so little information. Those who are familiar with this family know that there is so much more to this story. This is not going to be your typical domestic violence case. The probability is that the victim is just that, a victim. Also, for you gun lovers, there is a reason some people should not have the right to arm themselves.]

Why would a female now a days who wants to off her ex risk the chance that playing the "abuse excuse card" may not work in court. Just plant "kiddie porn" on his computer or somewhere in his apartment and let the kkkops know. He will have to prove he didn't know where it came from. Hard to disprove a negative!

Gotta agree with you on this one. Lets see what comes out in the investigation. A "guest" shot the guy, I thought "family members" were there with her. Something just isn't right or we are not getting the whole story here.....

I believe it was pure premeditated murder. I mean honestly, why would your estranged husband be at your house that early in the morning after not being there for six months? I believe that the whole crime was plotted, and that the husband was called to the house. The police should definitely research any cell phone records containing the past 48 hours and note whether the cell phone was found on the victim's body when the police arrived. And what's up with that time gap inbetween 6:30 and 7 am if the guest felt threatened immediately and shot the husband not far after the entry time? Why would the police get a call at least 30 minutes afterward? Also, why would the husband just happen to appear on the exact night that her relatives were staying in the house with her? Another news channel reported that the couple was in mediation counseling due to divorce consideration. He was a wealthy developer. Put the pieces together. He probably wanted a divorce, but she didn't want anyone else to have him, therefore, she plotted the murder so that she could still collect the insurance money and all his wealth while she was still legally his wife. I'm not done investigating; there's just something really fishy about the situation.
