Ann Arbor considers selling fossil fuel holdings

It is not only 'socially responsible' but a wise idea to reduce risk as fossil fuels may have to be left in the ground to avoid climate change and therefore lose value (to the shareholders stuck holding the bag).

The best plan would include the University putting a fair amount of those graduate brains to planning and demonstrating 'green energy' independence to reduce it's risks of disruption from future problems. Going 'off the grid' and having control of it's own energy would be the smart move. OR moving to a 'micro-grid' for power reliability.
