I graguated last week from my Medical Assistant class and I've already completed my internship.Didn't have to look for my own. They found internship for me.I was interning at one of the Modesto clinics. Very happy. My friend took Phlebotomy class out there in March and she also completed her internship couple of weeks go.
My opinion is it's a good school.I really think they have their stuff together. I was actually impressed. No regrets at all.

I attended Pharmacy Tech class at that college and I actually liked the program. First of all I was done in 14 weeks:) Schedule was perfect for me because it was a night class, plus I didn't have to go to school every day. What made it attractive in my case(big time) I could afford to pay for the class, didn't have to take out loans and then worry about paying it back or anything of that nature.they are a state school that's why their tuition is so much cheaper.Teacher was good and patient with students and I learned a lot. I was able to pick up my Certificate couple days after graduation( that was cool)and apply for my registration with the Board.I decided not to do externship, but I know they offer it to the students that interested. That's pretty much it.

Horrible school, they DO NOT teach you anything, as far as externship they dont get you one you will have to find your own Curtis is a BOLD FACED LIAR AND THIEF, DO NOT give your hard earned money to this school.

Hi, My name is Cristine and I took Phlebotomy class there last year. Enjoyed it. Teacher was great, schedule worked well for me, I could take my national test at the school and i had no prblems with my externship at all. I started my externship about a week after finishing my classroom time and I was done with the whole class probably within a month or so.Everybody at the school was professional and helpful.I have no idea who is Curtis, don't think that person works there.

Christine...Have you completed your externship? Did they help you with job placement or have you been able to find a job???

This school was a waste of time and money but then again I think most vocational schools are. I love how they can actually even state that they are colleges. I think if you really want to get an education and you have the time and money you should go to a real college to get a real education. I took the massage therapy class a few years ago and was not able to find a job anywhere. Now I am going to SJVC which I'm still a little leary about I'm now taking a Medical Assisting class and now out on extern at Sutter let me tell you it is hard so you better be ready to do this if you want it before you shell out a dollar and don't always believe everything everyone tells you at school do some investigating first.

I took the Phlebotomy course late last year. I enjoyed the instructor but everything else was a complete joke. 100% unprofessional. They screwed up my payments 75% of the time, because of their "miscommunication" as Daniel Lucky's wife/receptionist described) my NCCT test date was pushed back numerous times for a total of over 2 months. If you have the good graces of not having your paper work or money botched, then they seem to love you. But if something goes wrong they err on the side of "it's your fault". Also after waiting to be placed into my externship (another joke: turns out this place is in some sort of co-op with Daniel Lucky and it's just as much of a circus as his "school". The instructors were lazy grouchy and foul mouthed unprofessionals who didn't want to instruct but rather forge false draws so i wouldn't be such a hassle. The other student placed there with me reported it and it turned into a shit-storm. Needless to say i was thrilled to be finished. CAN NOT recommend!

I completed my Phlebotomy class at this college last year. I liked the instructor and enjoyed that class in general. I only wish my externship was a bit closer. It was about 45 min drive(one way) for me. On the bright side I didn't have to wait to be placed and it was just one week at the lab. I didn't have any problems with the school or my externship. I also passed my NCCT test first time, school actually set it up for me on line which was good because i am not that great with computers:)I am not sure but I think they test every week. After the test they gave me instructions what to do. I worried about my application for the state and had to call the school couple of times with some questions and they were very helpful. Recommend!

I am going to start Pharmacy Tech program in May and I've heard a lot of good things about Abrams College. Too bad they don't have a campus in Sacramento, but I am willing to drive to Modesto three times a week to be done by September. I am visiting my family in Modesto and I stopped by their campus to check them out and ask a few questions. Office staff was professional, informative and polite. I am excited to start this program soon:)

I enjoyed the course. People are getting hella crazy about Daniel lucky when in all actuality he helped me out tremendously i don't see your problem? I give props to Dave dr lucky and the lady's in the office. There doing there best. Dr lucky is a highly educated doctor. Did you know that dr lucky runs a separate volunteer clinic for low income family's? For children and people in need! He pays for all the meds ect they need! You say he's "a money hungry bag of skin?" Then why the hell would he be helping homeless low income families in Stanislaus county! You want to say this is dr lucky too? No my name is Whitney Crow a phlebotomy graduate who is loyal to the school and people who gave her a career and start in life. If you guys ask me you are the ignorant ones. I fully recommend Abrams college and I stand behind dr lucky because he is an AWSOME doctor!
