It's difficult to reconcile the inequities that take place in these things. Many hard working employees and families will suffer. On the other hand, I'm reminded of all the times I have seen eight workers standing around a hole or sitting in trucks waiting for the clock to turn as they conducted activities on cell phones. Then I think of the times I called city numbers for help and information and the line was busy all day long or just rang unanswered. I think of the times I was in city offices watching people do nothing or go around in circles with the same piece of paper. How about the police officers that go to church every Sunday while on the clock? All of this and more is from personal experience. Employees are not the whole problem, but they have contributed a share. PS> I also know about police detectives who work virtually around the clock to maintain order. By around the clock I mean they made themselves available for a call at 3AM or whenever the need.

And hundreds of millions of the pension money has vanished due to poor/illegal investment shenanigans.
