I could imagine dude isn't wrapped to tight. I remember searching for him in 2006 and he was listed in a mental hospital and today he's in a low level security facility so I'm sure there's some mental issuers.. Dude lost his family, close friends and freedom to the streets.. I'm sure it's not a memory dude wants to reminisce about.. I'm sure a motion picture will be out sooner or later about those figures from that era.. I wish there was a documentary on the brown brothers soul..

It was so much wrong doing in the palitical part of it, thats why its like that. Its alot of more bosses who ran that crew.

@street7 so ur saying Rockin Reg and Boog weren't the only leaders of Bestfriends. If ur saying Demetrius, Wershe and Maserati were that isn't true. Reg and Boog were absolutely incharge of the enforcement wing known as Bestfriends...

Get your facts straight. The 'Best Friends' gang originated with childhood friends Demetrius Holloway and Maserati Rick Carter who stepped in to fill the void on the streets after many of YBI's leaders were imprisoned. White Boy Rick Wershe was a wholesale supplier of cocaine who became closely associated to the gang and their leaders during their ascension to power. Rockin Reggie Brown was a stone cold killer who ran a murder-for-hire gang which, after Brown became acquainted with Holloway and Carter, became incorporated into the 'Best Friends' and acted as its enforcement arm

Rocking Reggie is an old school original gangsta, what happens in the streets stay in the streets... rocking Reggie might do a documentary, but he layed a lot of people down in that game... He has a story to tell, that only he can express from the inside looking out... He survived that game. He's the only remaining boss left from that circle... he is more saint then you might think... I walked the prison yard with dude, and he good... East side all day.

On the real I hear alot and heard alot during my 21&10. Let sleeping Gods rest. What was won't be no more. Dra Pat Reg and others have moved on why can't the rest of you. We did what you were scared to do so just enjoy the game we have give our life to so others know what and what not to do. Even the rats showed y'all that you have to really know the game or they will fold you. Gumbo Life!

Its funny, reading some of the rumors and ghost stories of the Friends era. The truth is . Love started the Best Friends and Love brought it down. That same love started Detroit's Devil's Night. Some stories are just better left untold. There are names that were never mentioned and some really important people that should've done time and didn't.
These poor kids never knew what hit them. Detroit Eastside pride is still alive and somehow more powerful now then is was when we ran those streets.
