Feedback: How a mall set the tone for Detroit's decline
The story was well-researched and informative. What wasn't examined was why people started to leave the city.Full Story

It was not malls that looted, burned, drove jobs & middle class tax payers out of the city Detroit.
It was the out of control citizens with no sense of civic pride ( or pride in anything else), the corrupt city hall morons and very greedy unions of da city, plus the agressive taxation by city, county and state goverments what distroyed da city.
The malls are not guilty as charged.
ask jimmy hoffa when you see him he will set you straight on da issue.
I'm suprised they are not blaming bush for the deline of Detroit.

I do blame Bush for all of Detroit's problems. Instead of that foreign aid and wars, he should have given the aid to our people.
