What a life these people were leading! No wonder they did not worry about the high cost of insurance and living in Detroit. Taxes? No problem. They did not pay taxes on the purloined money.

The jury is asked to believe that all the people on the witness stand are lying. It's a giant conspiracy by everybody. The defense strategy from Kwame's perspective is to continue styling with $5,000 suits and smile like this is not even a distraction. He listens closely and takes notes so the jury will have the image of an innocent bystander who has heard these things for the first time. Wow! Derrick Miller took a bribe. "Shame on him" says Kwame.
