Wow, Michigan has the highest gas prices in the continental United States. Thanks, Governor Rick Snyder. As goes Detroit, so goes the state of Michigan. Please don't run for president.

Thank you for your precious wisdom about how gas prices are set.

So what has the state & city, county done with all of the federal state and city gas tax they have been collecting all these years??
Add in car registrations fees, disposal fee for tires, sales taxes, yearly federal highway funds, all of this billions of dollars collected by the state county and city but none of it actually makes the roadway better.
So where does the money go??
Time for a complete review of income and how its wasted by city, county and state government.
Not one more penny more for government at any level
until there is a complete review of budget expenses.

Yes, Michigan taxes gas. BTW Governor Snyder ALSO wants to raise taxes and fees to fix our crumbling roads, but he just gave corporations a tax break, imposed Right to Work for LESS legislation and raised taxes on senior citizens. The result? Corporations like Pulte Homes decided to LEAVE the state. LOL
Snyder can't even get the bridge built that he promised.
Snyder is a failure by his own standards.

Good question. Why are all the Teabagger Republicans who are in complete control of Michigan not doing that????
Guess what's on their minds!!!! They want to do away with term limits, now that they are feeding at the government welfare trough!!! LOL
Rick Snyder wants to expand Medicaid and raise taxes to fix roads. When a Democrat says that it's like scratching finger nails on a chalk board, but when Snyder says it, all the Teabaggers say, "YES, SIR, can I have some more????" What fools!!! LOL
Snyder is there just to enrich his buddies at the expense of Michigan tax payers.
The Republican motto: Do as I say, not as I do. LOL

Hold on a minute here
Get a grip on currant contextual reality.
Keep in mind The city state county and federal government has been collection the above mentioned taxes for 60 years years now.
All of those tax dollars were suppose to go to repairing or building roads.
So forget the carpet bagger, or blame the republicans crap and tell us where in the hell all of the money cities , counties and feds have been collecting for 60 years to REPAIR Rebuild road has been wasted?
The roads in America have been largely ignored since construction began in the late 50's. There are bridges & over passes rusting away that should have been replaced years ago with the tax money government collected years ago.
Time for a complete budget review with accountability for moneys collected and how they were spent.
People with limited view points like yours is exactly what is wrong with America today.
Take your blinders off and see that every member of congress all presidents all members of administrations both political parties for the past 60 years have brought America to this break point time in our history.
You can't drive to California by just looking at the hood of your car, you have to take the longer view of the road to be successful.
Congress & administrations can't manage the American economy by just looking ahead to the next election cycle and public opinion polls.
Some one, some new political party has to step us start taking the longer view of where we are going as a country and a people.
America has not been well served by these two political parties.
There are way too many people in Washington that have been there way too long, Some times the only way to get some of these morons out of office is feet first, this is not good for the long term survival of America.
Look at Detroit , Chicago and other cities and some states which have had one party in power too long. Corruption, financial failure is the result.
So vote in the next election for anyone not in office today, cause the people in office today have brought us to where we are today.
Broke, in debt, over run with illegal immigrants , struggling with a economy which is over taxed, over regulated, wasting trillions of dollars on welfare.

try to pull your head out of the donkeys ass and see the world as it really is. Once you wipe the donkey shit out of your eyes you will see both parties, all presidents all members of congress for the past 50 years have brought America to this point by mismanaging our economy, over taxing, over regulating people and business.
