Some just like to make a statement, to be observed. They are the folks that come upon a train wreck or car crash and look for the wallets and purses rather than help those in need. What goes around comes around.

Not!..This sign wasnt made by a crackhead or someone trying to show off. It was made by a man in an attempt to save his neighborhood kids from the crackheads infesting they're ways. He did gain some attention and I quite honestly would love to hear an update as to whats been happening. Has there been any help? Did the attention at least slow down the traffic, violence and crime?..just curious.

The result of those signs has been nothing less than astonishing. At first most people were puzzled. They took it as a joke. But then the reality of our oneness as humans took hold. People began to understand, "It's all about the children." People toting guns began searching for gun buyback programs, not because they wanted the cash, but so they could donate the money to the Detroit Public Schools. Lines seeking jobs and education grew longer. When the lines didn't move fast enough, people began networking and some even came up with proposals for helping on the spot. Most everyone is more positive now and has little time for anything else. Even welfare clients are rejecting benefits and cutting up bridge cards.
For example, the state wanted to assist with expenses on Belle Isle and this was rejected by city council because we are a proud city, a city that can take care of our own business without depending upon others.

The ball is rolling now and it's all due to your help with those pictures.

Thank you so much.
