my fondest memories of River Rouge were River Rouge Days!!! for a small town Rouge really put on a great 4 day celebration. from fishing and model airplane contests to surrey rides and boat races. the parade, talent show and waterball fight were always highlights. i remember getting the Rouge Herald on thurs and trying to plan all the events we would try to make. please share your memories of this great longtime downriver tradition.

Now it's about the all mighty dollar. The carnival makes it's fortune and Good Fellas make a ton off of the beer tent

I actually heard your name mentioned while I was in Rouge seems like I know you but i'm not great with names my family said I do so Hi! LOL I spent a long weekend in Rouge this past weekend and I noticed that there seems to be more and more abandoned houses than there used to be. I have alot of family and friends that are still there and I hope things get better in that area.
