Barrow asks Wayne Circuit court to extend Detroit primary recount

Detroit -- Failed mayoral candidate Tom Barrow will seek an injunction Wednesday morning to prevent the Wayne County Board of Canvassers from returning ballot boxes and ballots to the Detroit City Clerk after certifying the primary recount.

Now he has handwriting experts checking ballots. He thinks a crew of whites in a warehouse were feverishly writing "duggan" on them. Then they were mixed in with the other ballots to be counted. Never-mind that if you removed the ballots Barrow thinks were illegal, there would only be about 10,000 valid votes cast. If he could whittle it down to that level, his 3,000 votes would look good.

The black population appears to have almost completely rejected Tom Barrow as relevant. But yes, if he's holding a rally with free beer and snacks he has lots of friends.
