Exactly. When given lemons, make lemonade.
Aliens will think the entire city has been bombed and sacked. It's a perfect place to hide or raise rats or something.

No joke. Why ruin the rest of the country? Detroit can be used as a national trash dump. Everyone Ned's to haul your garbage here. That's all it's good for now.

The next step is to figure out if the step they took is even legal at this point. Folks should know that the governor himself called the court and asked that that some pension hearing matters be delayed half an hour. He and Orr took that half hour to file the bankruptcy petition and thereby void the pension motions.

Governor Snyder his a dishonest individual in my opinion.

Assuming the Chapter 9 proceeds, everything from a business standpoint remains the same they say for six months until certain changes can begin. That's the story for public consumption. In reality, if I am doing business with the city it will be C.O.D.

Let's parse this. Do you mean an "A-bomb" or a bomb. A bomb could include a "neutron bomb" with less physical damage then an A-bomb. Or it could be a giant roach type fumigation bomb. Would city council approve such a plan, perhaps scheduled while they are on summer break?

I doubt this plan will gain traction.

Not a single cent should be spent on war or paid to any foreign country in aid until we spend money to put our American cities back in the black.

Detroit needs to go talk to American Jewelry and Loan. I am sure Les or Seth could float them a loan or make an offer for the whole city.

It looks like many Detroit pensioners will end up retiring to Cuba. Cost of living is low in Cuba - over 1 million Canadians visit Cuba each year !!!

Because I always wanted to drive a 54' Chevy with a Lada engine and a milk jug of gas on the hood.
