I should point out another error.<quoted text>
Husseini pro-Nazi alliances are well known. But I think there's an important historical error. The Final Solution was worked out during the Wannsee Conference under Eichmann's leadership. From what I read Husseini was neither invited nor present. It was at Wannsee that the final solution was actually crafted. Whatever Husseini's alliances with the Nazis--on the stupid assumption that the "enemy of enemy [British] is my friend"--he could not have crafted the genocide. The Germans may have seen Husseini as a useful tool against British in the Middle East, and his animosity toward the Jews settling in Palestine certainly didn't upset them. But they hardly needed him to carry out their murderous plans. They'd pretty much worked that out for themselves already. And as they were focused on European Jewry, i imagine that collaborators in Europe were more useful for the accomplishment of the final solution.
There was no Jews settling in Palestine. There were Jews returning to ISRAEL, or to put it even more accurately,Arab-occupied Israel.
Historically there is no doubt as to the accuracy of this assertion. Arabs were interlopers, invaders, imperialists and oppressors in that land.
The term Palestine, or Palestina was invented by the Romans for the same purpose as the later creation of the Palestinian people and cause: to efface the TRUE Jewish nature of that land.
There never was a Palestine. There has been an ISRAEL for millenia.
That land is not "Palestine" any more than Mexico is "New Spain".
