Teachers union chief blasts Detroit schools for loss of Head Start funding
Keith Johnson, president of the Detroit Federation of Teachers, said Tuesday he has known about the problem for months and has been reassured by district officials that alternative state funds will be used to keep the spots open this fall for the city's low-income 4-year-olds.

teachers union should blast them selves for being over paid and producing substandard results in the class room.
based on test score of the detroit students the teachers should take a 50% pay cut and union bosses a 75% pay cut
pay them based on results in the class room and they will all starting working at a hamburger stand for $7.50 per hr. which is more than teachers union members are worth.
