How are your furry kids doing? And your non furry kid too!
Mine are great, getting old, but they both got an excellent report from the Vet this month. Just bought them new a pair of beds, extra large size of course! They love them.

My dog is a total bicth (excuse me for saying). I bought her a bed at Meijer's today. She got really possessive.

The house is being remodeled. She bit the lead carpenter and follows him around all day barking.

I'm sleeping on an air mattress in the kitchen.....She shoved me off the edge last night. I also woke up with a scratch on my head...my hair was caked with dried blood. I think she clawed me in our sleep.

It'll be another month.....and God knows how much money before it ends.

Oh well.....I still love dogs.

What are you gonna do?

I suppose I have always lived this way.

I think Homeland Security should make an effort to limit the immigration of muslims, into this country....that's all for now.....they don't have the courage, to create any problems in small numbers.....other than as terrorists...
Why do we have a homeland security council, a National security council, the joint chiefs of staffs, the department of defense, and a national security adviser? It seems like we have too much government overlap here.

Federal officials offered a staunch defense Monday of their proposal to drop legal protections for the gray wolf in most of the country, as opponents rallied in the nation's capital before the first in a series of public hearings on the plan.

America needs fewer politicians and more wolves.....way more wolves....

Here's another fact: Since 9-11-01, muslims have committed nearly 5 terror attacks per day. 5 times a day. Every day.

A little perspective on the "religion of peace". That's "piece" that the world can do without.

I miss Meijers.

Remodeling, yep it sucks! We're taking a break from it for now. Most of the painting is even done, other than the guest rooms. You'll be glad when it's complete.

I learned long ago, if my dogs don't like someone to pay attention. They're a good judge of character.

I know you'd give your right arm for your dog. Mine drive me nuts some days too, I complain, but they don't listen. The older dog even rolls his eyes at me. Such attitude!

So the president can overpay all his buddies with the tax money he extorts from us.

Ehh...I got bigger fish to fry. I live in a part of the country called Michigan. Our winters are fierce. I'm living in fear this time of year.....Uh.....I'm sure you don't know anything about that, though.

Take care, Sweetness. Wish me luck.

LOL

I vaguely recall some cold white crap. Our weather just turned beautiful, no more oven outside. Saw my first scorpion, ugh. I now have a service that comes out every month and sprays for them, only $40 a visit. I'd have paid double that and been thankful, I was ready to move back to Michigan!

I wish you the best of luck dear heart, but you wont need it, you're tougher than any old blizzard! I can send you some of my favorite recipes for cold weather if you want. I always liked to bake when the weather got cold.

Thanks for your encouragement. And please go to Goldwater's and buy yourself a jacket. It gets chilly at night out there.

Don't confuse the subject....Daily, Syrian rebels are finding Christians, and asking which they prefer....conversion or beheading?....everyday.....

I was not confusing, I was straying from it to ask a legitimate question.

We definitely do have too much 'big' government.

We need to find a solution quickly before the anarchist and leftists do it first.

I don't think you understood the point I was making. I've been in the islam forum for several years now, not everyone who hates Christians, Jews, Gays and Lesbians, Hindu, Buddhists, etc is muslim. Do they hate enough to commit such a heinous act? Probably not. Hopefully not. But would they lose any sleep over someone else committing the heinous act? Possibly not.

For instance...if someone was murdered and beheaded by a muslim in the US this year, it would be pretty big news wouldn't it? Regardless of who the victim was? We (Americans) would be outraged?

Christians and others are being persecuted - beheaded or burned alive in many cases - in several islamic nations. The world, and especially the US and the UN has said little and done less about this issue.

Thanks Patriotic Girl! It's nice to see you back again too. People come and go from forums like this, it's just the nature of it. I've had several trips back home to visit and been busy remodeling my new house, so that's kept me busy.

Talk about big government, we have a Secretary of the treasury, a deputy secretary, a treasurer, a separate office for budgeting that is not under the treasury.
