I am nauseated that this young man was convicted for this crime. There is no forensic evidence supporting his guilt and the case was entirely circumstantial. Another disgusting example of the injustice done in this country everyday. It is our duty as citizens to speak out against these travesties lest they happen to us too. I also don't understand the emphasis on how he didn't have an emotional reaction upon learning his mother was murdered. I watched the taped interview and I do not agree; he appeared both upset and in shock. We must also remember that there is no "right" reaction to something like this. Everyone responds differently and some people are simply not as emotionally demonstrative as others. Regardless, none of that is evidence that he committed any crime. It is things like this that make me ashamed to be an American. I pray for the Pyne family that they can find the strength to fight this and I hope they never give up.

I don't know how the Michigan police, the prosecutor, and the jury sleep at night. Shame on all of you.

If you were not at the trial or the scene, perhaps you don't know what was fair or not. Much of what you say if true in my experience. That is, prosecutors are not always fair. The man's defense may not have been as skilled enough in voir dire as the prosecution using experts on a high profile case. As a juror, I better see some physical evidence with today's available technology. It did not happen and now the appeal process takes over. Innocent people do sometimes go to jail. If you are truly that appalled you could donate to his appeal defense fund.
