Gov. Snyder promises quick Detroit EM decision
Gov. Rick Snyder said Friday the appointment of an emergency manager for Detroit would likely come swiftly next week if appeal arguments from the City Council fail to change his mind.

I wonder how he keeps a straight face as he listens to appeals to avoid the EFM. He knows what he will do ahead of time and arguments mean nothing. Snyder is very good at being deceptive and putting a positive spin on the worst of circumstances. He does this by practicing certain positive mantras that cannot be argued.
One of these is:
"Again, we're doing this because the people of Detroit deserve better services." Who can argue against it?
