I will plant bacon snipes by the trail to bring in the bears....

All bike trails are local anyway. People won't be biking the length of the state as a rule. They will go a few miles in this direction or other. It is nice to be able to take a longer course without traffic interference. So concentrate on promoting trails locally and if the dots all connect, all the better.
