These cases are so much more inviting to detectives than cold cases or apparent random killings with nothing to go on. All the classic questions of motive and opportunity are answered with little leg work. Detectives will have trouble containing themselves during the interview with the former husband who is already fighting a felony child sexual abuse case. About the only question left is whether they can coerce a confession from the man and save court time.
