Sep 2, 2013 Full story: Detroit Free Press 24

I feel that warren is being extremely narrowminded here. I have heard that this owner is a very responsible business owner.i don't know the owner personally but a good owner makes much of the difference.please let this person open the club with the expansion. I don't frequentl these places often but i just feel the city of warren is blatantly wrong here.i am being neutral.please work with this owner instead of against. This establishment has been here and doesn't look trashy like ones in mt. Clemens area.why is warren being so stubborn. I used to go to BT's in dearborn from January 85 till October 86.when it became. Sleazy.i have been in here handfull of times in 25 years and it seemed well run. Warren please stop being a roadblock to this responsible business here. Let it reopen please. 2011Thank you.

And i'll give my opinion once more. To violate grandfather clause it seems a place would have to do an extreme violation. So they enlarged a bit. Is this so wrong? In inkster there r three topless ones within a mile of each other. Two of them look very wornout. Flight club is only one nice looking. I understand some neighbors don't want it. But why? Look at what is available today on internet. This place is run discreetly.to abandon building and relocate requires extensive money and time. Has this business ever been a nuisance, city of warren.? I am just looking at things realistically and fair.I'm not lawyer, but i would guess over years this place has given little to no problems. I hope they win in court. Cities have been wrong before.i seen no problem on this responsible business remodeling and reopening. I feel warren is looking for any excuse to keep it closed. People don't have to come in who r opposed.tom monaghan i heard wanted them all shuttered. Please be reasonable here.

The city council is being asses stopping Jon Jon's from re-opening. The place has been there forever and to my knowledge with no problems. Right before it closed I took my girlfriend (now my wife) and we had a great time and stayed close to home. I don't frequent these bars but like to visit once in a while. Ended up going to the semi-new bar on 8 Mile and didn't feel comfortable in that area.

ROFLMFAO! Typical child retort. ROFLMFAO! "I know more than you, NA NA NA NA!" ROFLMFAO! I'm waiting for your rebuttal of "my bike is better than your bike." ROFLMFAO!

Once again stealing an insult commented to you. Obviously, you don't know more than myself, or anyone else since you require the need to steal material and you only spew from your womanly emotions without factual backup. ROFLMFAO!

At least you provide us with entertainment and laughter. You're already accustomed to people laughing at you in person, thus, it's no difference in here.

There is always some self-righteously overt sensitive idiot who whines about issues which don't involve them and think everyone else should conform to their lifestyle.

I'm uncertain of the primary reason for the delay of the opening but in general, there's usually some liberal person or group who is trying to stop an establishment such as that from operating due to their personal beliefs and when it doesn't even concern them.

Most people who frequented Jon Jons were middle class types who lived in the area. They didnt want to go to the sleazer more dangerous places along 8 Mile. Open it back up.

Last night on stage at the strip club was the ugliest dancer I've ever seen.

She danced up to me and said "Hey handsome, what would you like me to take off first?"

I said "My glasses."

"Nobody walks til' the boss man talks."

My wife says she hates it when our next door neighbor sunbathes topless in the garden.

Personally I'm on the fence.
