Workers do want RESPECT! rtw kills that and ANY and ALL job security. With rtw how are the young workers ever going to be able to apply for a mortgage? GOP fascism loves killing the civil rights of American citizens who don't know any history of the labor movement and or civil rights of our nation. Get educated on this, then get in the STREETS!!! For anyone to garner respect, they have to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. The Detroit Public Schools has been a taxpayer trough dedicated to the enrichment of a select group of adults. If their mission actually was educating the youth of the city, we wouldn't have an illiteracy and drop out rate that exceeds 50% of the population. Why should the taxpayer have a continued obligation to reward failure? The time has come to break the stranglehold that the failing union/government system has been delivering for decades now. I would start by eliminating the federal Dept. of Education.

tax payers don't understand or see the total waste of money we spend on education each year.

consider the following

there is federal department of ED
in Maryland with lots of employees.

the district and all 50 states all have
departments of education with even more
employees depending on the size of the
state.

every city in America has a department of
ED with lots more employees.

there are county departments of ED with even
more employees.

every city/town in America has a city department
of education which varies in size by the city

every school have more staff managing.

that is a really lot of money wasted on the administration or mismanagement of education and so far in this dialog we haven't listed the class room teachers.

the point is Education in America is a very top heavy expensive process to produce such poor results as we get for each dollar spent on education.

there must be thousands of over paid people across the country involved in administration of education and it isn't worth what we waste on the product produced.

they did this that already they have a black history class with a distorted one sided black only view of history for blacks.

Think obozo majored in Black history, he must have skipped economics, management, problem solving, American and world history or got grades based on affirmative grade action where you just show your black face in class and you get a grade.

obozo is a text book living example of "the Peter Principal" the business class book written in the 80's.

it outlines how good people preform well at a low entry level job position etc then get promoted, elected , hired up to a level beyond their ability, training, education, temperament, mental ability and they fail at the new higher level.

read the book it describes obozo years before he got to where is failing today.

Respect is earned !

I know the history of the labor movement from its inception to take over of the labor movement by the mafia, mobsters, communist.

Union labor has driven more business and industry out of business or out of the country to avoid involvement with corrupt union officials.

Can you name any industry any company in America that has been improved, made more profitable , more efficient, more innovative because of union involvement?

I can name many companies driven off shore or out of business or certainly less efficient because of unions.

Numbers of cities and some states are heading to bankruptcy court because of aggressive union bully tactics.

Buy any American made steel , Twinkie cup cakes lately???

well I would move out to a neighborhood with great school system.
then work with your kids be sure home work is completed attend parent teacher conferences, hire tutors to help your kids if they need help. high school or college students could be a big help at low cost.
