Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority director has 6-figure severance clause
Wayne County has outlawed severance payments for its employees, but the executive director of the newly formed Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority will get $337,500 if he's fired without cause in the next year.

so how id a city on the edge of bankruptcy give this wizard a contract with such a large sanity clause in it?
At least now we can see why the city is bankrupt.

This authority is not a Detroit or Wayne county entity. It has no relationship to the Detroit bankruptcy in any way. The funds come from the state and federal government. You continue to post without thinking or reading.

And this guy probably earns this position unlike another who in past was given special priority by executive who never stopped until public was notified,
