I agree with everything you have said - with one caveat: while we cannot legislate morality - we can EFFECT it. It seems like an out of control systemic spiral these days - more kids born to weak if non-existent parenting, breed more of the same. I don't know what the answer is - but I do know that windbags like Nancy Pelosi and her "discussion of race" wont even begin to scratch the surface of the problem or the possible answers.<quoted text>
True statements, but five unqualified black people do not speak for the many more who are qualified. Now whether you want to believe that or not is your business. I thoroughly agree that black folk have to get their out of birth wedlock rate lower and black men need to step up and be real leaders in their community. You have totally got a point their. Unfortunately, society cannot really police or legislate morals and free will. Euthanization would work but who of us want to be Nazis? Who of us has that right to decide another persons morals?
And perhaps more damaging: most people don't see or interact as much as they should with the large number of blacks that don't fit the above reality. I work FOR any number of blacks that are educated, smart, hardworking, and decent - their children are parented and will most likely do well.
