How many kids do these poverty stricken familes have? The days of needing a large brood to work the family's farm fields are long gone. If you can't afford to raise kids properly DON'T HAVE THEM!
I understand that life brings unexpected changes and hardships during an economic slump, but welfare, WIC, and LINK, and intended to be crutches, not a career. If you want to see changes, real changes and not the "hopey changey" changes, clean out the government. Kick these free spending liberals to the curb. Then give incentives to make the USA a country of production instead of exporting production to other countries with devaluized currency.
